Yes, an M.Sc. Student is eligible to apply for the SSC JHT exam. However, there are certain conditions, which are:
1. English must be a compulsory or elective subject or the medium of an examination if he or she has an M.Sc. In Hindi medium of study.
2. Hindi must be a compulsory or elective subject or the medium of an examination if he or she has an M.Sc. In English as the medium of study.

Entrance exam syllabus for coology is usually based on the syllabus of Bachelor's degree and also some questions are set on the basis of 10 and 10+2 level syllabus. So, you need to prepare your self according to that only. M.Sc Food Science & Technology program is not available at ANGRAU.
However the admission in other PG courses are made on the basis of previous academic record at Under Graduate level and performance in entrance test and the weightage would be in the ratio of 30:70. The entrance test shall be comprehensive one, covering all relevant subjects prescribed for the concerned Bachelor degree requirements of this University.
So Entrance test is must here for PG admission.

As you have not mentioned which graduation programme you are going to apply, I will add both *MS or M.Engineering: There are 2 types of Master's degree programmes (a) MS by research work (b) MS by coursework.
