Hello Subhajit, You need to check whether the university is UGC/ government approved or not? The candidates who have completed post-graduation from recognised university are allowed to apply for the exam. You can find the list of the approved universities and name of the fake universities at the official UGC Website. The candidates of distance learning are also eligible to apply for the exam. Also the candidates can choose the subject of their post-graduation to apply for UGC NET or its related subjects only.

Hi Diksha,
PU holds an entrance for M.Sc. There is 50% aggregate for both entrance and percentage in graduation. You have low percentage but you can get good rank in entrance which may improve your chances of getting admission in PU.

UGC exam has few science streams. M.Sc in organic chemistry would come under the chemical Science stream. This exam would cover questions from different Science streams which come under chemical Science like organic and inorganic chemistry.
The exam is for 2 1/2 hours and has two papers. The first paper will contain general science questions. This will be common for all exam streams of NET. The exam is held in computer-based test mode for admission in B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). Every year, the score of this exam is accepted by 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs, all affiliated with NCHMCT.

You may clear NET exam or some other state entrance and go for lectureship in government colleges, and also in private colleges.
If you like your subject and are interested in research, Ph.D is the way to go. Be it at IIT, IISER, TIFR, IISc and so on. Choose a top class institute and a good guide with whom you would be comfortable to work.
Going for a Ph.D abroad is also a great option, but the choice depends on your circumstances and wishes.
