NEST is an entrance exam which gives you admission to the in M.Sc. Programme (I. e. both B.Sc. And M.Sc. In NISER and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai. Also, you can choose your major subject but not specifically Biotechnology. However, you would be taught some courses related to it.

IIT Indore is also called as Centre of Astronomy there is lot of opportunities to make your career. You will get to learn lot of things regarding your subject. So, it is a good option and IIT, Indore has good records in case of astronomy.

You can apply for UGC NET Computer Science if you have completed the M.Sc. With IT. But the basic requirement of the exam is that you should have passed Masters with minimum 55% aggregate marks which you have to fulfill. 5% relaxation is provided to the OBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates in the aggregate marks. Hi, it is difficult to evaluate chances by the mere percentage. 72% marks is good, but a higher percentage would have increased your prospects. Having said that, you also have work experience which will add value. The nature of your work, projects, innovative work, seminars, international projects, certifications, publications, patents and any work to demonstrate your research and innovative skills will be beneficial. Recommendation letters and a very strong personal statement are also a must. Give your best shot at the application.

You will be able to pay off part of the tuition fee by doing a part time job. Placements depend on the college that you have taken admission in, most colleges have a placement cell, while others provide counselling and links to firms which hire off campus. Nowadays, there is nothing as an assured placement and it all depends on the will of the student to perform and work towards their goals.
