Suitability for girls will totally depend on the kind of girl you are. If you are one of those pretty 'I won't get my hands dirty with grease' kind of girls, then it's not for you. Because jobs generally might not be in an air conditioned cabin initially. The scope lies that many big PSUs and private manufacturing companies hire mechanical engineers. But if you can't make it through campus placements then you will have to do really well in GATE which is not that easy for all. It doesn't matter as you are from Andhra Pradesh. It only needs the student who has good score in IPE like above 95% or you can also get admission through JEE Mains exam where your score must be above 85%. So work well and do the best.

Compared to other exams, MAT is same, but in MAT you get chances if you fail to clear once you have another chance to attend it compared to other exams. Yes, MAT is also tough but not that tough as CAT.
