Lecturer, NUS,

Hi Saheli, a professorship track abroad or in India could be the best , secured and highly paid. Take a Ph.D, complete your post doc and apply for professorship. Its going to be a long journey but worth it. And, if you want a non-Physcis job you will be eligible for a lot of options which could fetch you a good salary - banking, consultancy, design etc. Your career growth and prospects will purely depend on your interests and career goals.

Hi,
Currently, it’s debatable and not recognised any longer. As per UGC, duration of M.Sc in India is 2 years therefore a 1-year M.Sc degree is not present in India.

Hi Shahbaz,
6.6 CGPA is a not a very good score to apply into a MS Computer Science program in Canada. Around 75% is required. Additionally, a very strong research oriented profile is required. You can check this link and check the requirements and apply to universities that match closely with your profile:

You must also check options in Australia and other countries.

Hello Vadiraja,
It's great to know that you have already set your eyes on your goal. Good. First and most importantly, you must be thorough in your studies and have a good academic record. If your record right from 10th is good then it's an added advantage. However a word of caution. There are many nuances for achieving success. Hence I would advise you to approach an agency dealing with sending students abroad for MS.
Best wishes.

Hello,
Your career will depend on your academic performance and skillset. Somehow university reputation also matters. RnD opportunities are available in various sectors from health sectors to space research organizations. You may also get into teaching. If research is your ultimate goal consider doing a PhD too.

Hello Rahul,
It is difficult to answer since this depends on the university. There are so many in Australia. Your backlog is too much, I doubt if a top university like the University of Melbourne will happily accept. Keeping aside the backlogs, see that you meet the admission requirements, have the minimum academic percentage, required IELTS and so on. Apply accordingly. The entry requirements are naturally different from the universities so you have to visit the websites and start preparing accordingly.
