Yes, it is possible. Academics is always formal schooling. Correspondence does not come under formal schooling. Specific universities based on entrance test or TOEFL may consider. This will vary from one university to another. You have to liaison with the overseas university which you are aiming.

You need to register and apply. There is a written test that you need to appear for and the test is conducted by the GICED. After shortlisting, you will be called for personal interview based on marks obtained in written test. You have to clear your Bachelor's degree with very good marks, more than 75% is required. Also to study in Canada you must have 4 year Bachelor's degree since they don't accept 3 year degree courses. You can go for M.Sc in Chemistry, as it is promising both in industrial jobs as well as academics. Pharmacy is also a good option, but then again you will have to give 4 years of study and then you will apply for job. So, it is better to go for 2 years programme, rest it depends on your interest. In order to get admission you have to crack the Entrance test conducted by Punjabi University and the eligibility criterion for the entrance exam is the degree of B.Sc. with Chemistry or B.Sc. (Hons. School) in Chemistry.
