When things comes to media everything is converged ! Electronic Media and Visual Communication are two different course set but both teaches the same kind of syllabus and same almost but Electronic media have more technical terms than Visual communication but both are same. EM offers 5 years integrated course & Viscom offers 3 years in UG & 2 Years in PG (Some college offer major in Viscom like Direction, Cinematography).

In general for MSW, a candidate must have at least 3 year graduation degree of BSW. Some universities offer admission in MSW to those student who have done graduation with social science and having a certification course of social work.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria
Basic eligibility criteria for pursuing an M.Sc course requires students to be graduates from a recognised college with a minimum cutoff percentage (as stated by the respective college/ university) preferably in Science stream. There is usually no age limit to join the course.
Students can opt to pursue M.Sc immediately after they complete their graduation or even at a later stage.

Fee has been revised for the 2017. It is Rs 6.9 lakhs for 2 years. Hostel is of 3 different types. Single sharing and double sharing is available which are well secured.

You are eligible but admissions will be very competitive since universities in Germany admits profiles with scores as high as 90%. You must put extra effort on your SOP and also the LORs submitted by your professors must be exceptional. Besides, you have to show enough academicals work such as projects, research, etc.
