Hi, it is difficult to evaluate chances by the mere percentage. 72% marks is good, but a higher percentage would have increased your prospects. Having said that, you also have work experience which will add value. The nature of your work, projects, innovative work, seminars, international projects, certifications, publications, patents and any work to demonstrate your research and innovative skills will be beneficial. Recommendation letters and a very strong personal statement are also a must. Give your best shot at the application.
Your fee will be 4.5 lakhs for the two-year M.Sc course in physics. You can join M.Sc after completing your degree, you will get a good job.
Good luck.
You will be able to pay off part of the tuition fee by doing a part time job. Placements depend on the college that you have taken admission in, most colleges have a placement cell, while others provide counselling and links to firms which hire off campus. Nowadays, there is nothing as an assured placement and it all depends on the will of the student to perform and work towards their goals.
