Before starting you should have primary knowledge of computer hardware, basic knowledge of different topology through which computers are connected. you should know network Fundamentals like LAN, MAN, WAN. Have a primary idea on OSI layered architecture. Basic IP addressing scheme. It is not verify difficult. Collect a book on computer networking. Go through. Then, go for CCNA.
