The career options for you in Tourism industry is pretty much cool. But you need to devote time and patience. It's not a fast track career option. Remember that it's a vast field and opportunities are unlimited. The growth is good too. Presently, the tourism industry has an upwardly movement, hence I would suggest to go for it if it's of your prime interest. Graduation is generally the basic qualification needed to start a career in travel and tourism.
The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue, the details of some courses is stated below:
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks. You could also opt for a Diploma.

- Bachelor in Tourism studies (BTS)
- Bachelor degree in Hotel Management (BHM)
- Bachelor degree in Aviation or Hospitality.

There are lot of courses in travel and tourism. You can go for MBA or PG Diploma of one year.
There are a lot of private institutes also which give training such as Frankfin for aviation.

At present, there are no tailormade courses for adventure tourism in India.
