The SMFWBEE counselling started on June 2, 2025 in online mode at the official website of the conducting body. All three rounds of counselling were held online only to ensure transperancy in the admission process. 

Yes, the SMFWBEE exam will be conducted in both Bengali and English medium. Candidates will be able to read the questions in both the languages. 

No, MCI, in collaboration with NTA, prepares the syllabus for the exam. The exam will not be conducted by WBJEEB. SMFWB will organise and manage the exam for the aspirants. 

No, there will only be MCQs in the entrance exam. No subjective questions will be asked. If any changes are expected in the exam pattern, they will be informed via a notification, which will be published soon on the website. 

No, candidates can switch between physics, chemistry, and biology sections while attempting the question paper. There is no specific order in which the paper must be solved. There is no sectional time limit in the exam. 

Yes, the SMFWBEE entrance exam is held in the morning slot. As per the guideline the exam starts at 10:30 am and continues for the next three hours. Candidates get ample time to solve 100 questions.

The SMFWBEE 2025 result/scorecard included your marks obtained, overall rank, category-wise rank (General, EWS, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH), and whether you have qualified for the counseling process. The official merit list also reflects separate category rankings.
