SMFWBEE 2026: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The State Medical Faculty of West Bengal Entrance Examination (SMFWBEE) exam is conducted for admission to various Paramedical Courses offered by colleges in West Bengal, as per the course curriculum approved by the State Government. The exam is also conducted to award Diploma/ Certificate to successful candidates. The Paramedical courses offered under SMFWBEE exam are shared below-

The State Medical Faculty of West Bengal conducts the SMFWBEE entrance exam in offline (pen and paper) mode. All candidates wishing to apply for paramedical courses in West Bengal's paramedical colleges must register on the institute's official website using a valid email ID and mobile number. 

Students who want to take admission to paramedical courses must fulfill the eligibility conditions: 

Also, the registration fee paid by such candidates shall be forfeited. To avoid complications, students must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before filling out the SMFWBEE registration form.

Admissions to the paramedical courses will be based on the marks obtained in the SMFWBEE entrance examination, as most of the paramedical colleges in West Bengal accept SMFWBEE scores for granting admission. The institute will not accept the scores of any other examination for admission to the paramedical courses. Candidates are, thus, advised to go through the admission process for these courses.

SMFWBEE Registration 2026

The registration for the SMFWBEE Paramedical 2026 entrance exam is quite easy. Candidates must complete all the application stages to apply for the entrance exam. All candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee to complete the registration process. Candidates must also reserve copies of the forms that are filled out during the SMFWBEE paramedical application process. To register for the exam, candidates must keep the documents mentioned below:

• Attested copies of the original Mark Sheet for H.S / equivalent Exam,

• Admit Card for proof of age

• A scanned copy of a colored photograph

• A scanned copy of the signature

• SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH certificate to be submitted during the online application

Admission fee for SMFWBEE 2026

Candidates belonging to all the categories need to pay the following SMFWBEE application and counselling fee to seek admission to paramedical colleges/institutes of West Bengal. The details are mentioned as under:

Candidates can pay the application and counselling fees through net banking/debit card/credit card. In case the transaction fails at EPG, the candidate has to make payment once again. Applicants are advised to keep copies of the confirmation page and admit card in safe custody.

The following is the list of centers for the candidates who wish to apply for the SMFWBEE paramedical exam. Candidates can refer to the list of examination centres specifying the District codes and names. The SMFWBEE exam was conducted in offline mode in these cities:

The SMFWBEE exam comprises 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options each. Students will be provided 3 hours to attempt the question paper. According to the SMFWBEE exam pattern, there are two papers. In the first paper, there are two sections: Physics and Chemistry. Each paper will have 25 questions. The second paper comprised a Biology section with 50 questions. Each question will carry one mark. There will be NO negative marking for an incorrect answer.

The exam conducting authorities don't release the official syllabus of SMFWBEE in the notification. There will be three sections from which questions will be asked in the exam which are Physics, Chemistry & Biology. There will be 100 questions in total from which questions will be asked in the exam.
