The duration will depend you how quickly you are able to clear each level. Normally, it will take a minimum of 3 to 4 years to complete the course. You need to begin with enrolling for the CPT level first. On clearing this level you can enrol for either one group of IPCC or both. On clearing one group you can enrol for the articleship training for 3 years. Along with this you need to complete orientation course of 35 hours and 100 hours of ITT training. On clearing both the groups you start preparing for the finals. You can appear for the exam six months prior to completing articleship.

The Chartered Accountant course starts with three different consequent sections namely, Common Proficiency Test (CPT), Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and Final Course. Throughout the year registration for both of CPT exam and IPCC exams will be open so that students can enroll at any time but exams will be held at different schedules.The candidates who want to pursue CA should have minimum eligibility of 12th class.

B.Com honors is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students. You can also pursue courses like chartered accountancy along with your B.Com honors.
The course is similar to B.Com honors. The difference lies in the fact that you can specialize in a certain subjects in B.Com honors, but the B.Com pass course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the honors course.
