If you opt for the right path then you can reach to a very good level with commerce subjects. You have a lot of options, but you have to be clear about your goals. As per me, you should opt for a management course, but you can also pursue B.Com (Hons) and try for CA. If you are not confident about CA then I would suggest, you should pursue BBA and aim for MBA. You can also pursue BA, hotel management or airport management course.

Getting a good job in banking sector BBA or B.com both are the good options and somewhere, it also depends on your interest. B.Com Banking and Finance is on basic principles involved in the Banking field whereas BBA Banking and Finance is on management of various fields involved in banking sector.
But B.Com Banking and Finance degree has a stable career ahead, this degree is well suited for banking jobs.

Completing B.Com with IPCC group 1 would not completely fill in the conceptual knowledge required for financial & investment analysis, portfolio management, etc. It will certainly give you the knowledge required in accounting & auditing.
