Hello,
For good acting education, you must take admission in FTII, NSD, SRFTI, SRC etc. For this, you need to be a graduate followed with an entrance exam and few screen test is required to get there. Regards.

Hi Navez,
Minimum eligibility criteria is Graduation and Theater experience to enter in NSD. If you want to learn acting in NSD, my suggestion is to complete your Bachelor degree first and associate yourself with some street play (Nukad Natak) groups for your acting experience. English is not compulsory.

Besides, the FTII Diploma shall provide you the scope and opportunity to learn and enhance all the skills related to film making like acting, direction and camera editing as well.

Hello Punam,
Of course, to join FTII a degree is mandatory irrespective of the specialization you choose. They offer Master's degree and has an entrance exam for admission which by the way is tough enough to filter the top most technicians. They exam is two staged, theoretical written exam followed by an interview.

Hi, you can pursue a course from National school of drama, Mandi House, Delhi. You have to do the hard work to complete your acting course. Then, there will be options for you to move further. As there are many acting institutes but as I suggested above to go for NSD, it is the best one and the tough one too. Else there is Sri Ram Center in Mandi House, Delhi and many private acting institutes around. You can think and choose.
