Hi,
There is no such thing as called a procedure for the same. You just need to pass class 12th with 50%+ marks to become eligible for most of the colleges. Some colleges conduct their individual exams for admission.

Hi Ajinkya,
Choosing a particular subject is absolutely upon you.
Depending on your capabilities, passion and aim you have to choose it. If you want to be in the field of media or advertising then go with the latter one. If this is not your aim then choose computer.
My suggestion would be advertising. It's really interesting.

From designing print advertisements to TV ads and visualising them in the extra creative way, from directing advertising campaign to anchoring shows, the domain is all the more important now, because the business depends on this. Skills are: Language, English Speaking and Communication Skills as well. Good command on designing or technical skills that are needed for designing or camera, etc., literature sense as well as marketing Skills. MBA combined with a good course is anytime a better scope. But, PGD will also do if you look into the future of this field.
Better would be obviously MBA.
