AGRICET, or the Agriculture Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) in Andhra Pradesh for admission to the BSc (Hons) Agriculture Degree program. It's primarily for Diploma holders in Agriculture, Seed Technology, and Organic Farming. AGRICET 2025 Application Process is tentative to start on July 15, 2025, on ANGRAU's official website as per previous year trends. Candidates must attach the important documents along with the hard copy of their application form, as mentioned below:
- Hard copy of the online submitted application form
- Proof of age (Birth Certificate/SSC copy)
- SSC marksheet
- Diploma course marks memorandum or course completion certificate
- the latest conduct certificate from the last attended institute
- Recent Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/BC candidates)
- Proof of local status (last 7 years)
- Certificates for special categories (PH, NCC, Sports, CAP)
- Self-attested passport-size photograph
- Payment acknowledgement (Transaction ID/UTR)

AGRICET eligibility criteria state that the candidates must have completed a 2-year Diploma degree in either Agriculture, Seed Technology, or Organic Farming courses. It must be done from a recognised university/college. Students currently pursuing a Diploma can also apply. A minimum age of 17 years and a maximum age limit of 22 years is mandatory as of December 31, 2025 for the general category. Age relaxation has been granted to reserved category applicants.

Students who wish to appear for the AGRICET Exam must have their academic certificates, scanned passport-size photo, and signature ready in the prescribed format and size for uploading during the AGRICET application process.

No matter from which category one belong to, the AGRICET application form is the same for all category students. Only the application fee amount differs as per the candidate category. Candidates are suggested to read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.

In case a candidates filled the application form and submitted the application fee but he/she does not appear or the exam then the AGRICET application fee is non-refundable. As per the information available on the official website, application fee refunds will not be entertained.

Yes, candidates should know that there is a correction window which is opened for two days. Candidates need to edit details in their form, within the timeline. Once the AGRICET Correction window closes, no further changes will be allowed, so candidates must fill out the form correctly.

As per the previous year's trends the application fee for General candidates is INR 1400, for SC, ST, and PH candidates the fee is INR 700. Candidates need to submit the application fee through online payment methods to successfully submit the application form to be able to appear for the AGRICET Exam.
