In AHSEC HS exams, both theoretical and practical exams are held to check student's knowledge in the papers. There are a total of five subjects in Assam HS exams and each paper contan a total of 100 marks. However, a few papers such as Physicis, CHemistry, SOcial Science have both theory and practical exams.  For theory exams, 70 marks are allocated while for practical exams, a total of 30 marks are distributed. Theory paper include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short-answer questions, and long-answer question.

Yes, the AHSEC HS (12th) syllabus includes practical topics in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Science. These subjects include many topics that require experiments to understand theoretical concepts. In these papers, a total of 30 marks allotted for practical examinations. The syllabus of Assam HS includes the topics that need practical experiments and projects to be completed.

To prepare for the AHSEC HS Board exams, knowing the syllabus should be the first and most important step. Knowing the Assam HS syllabus in advance help the students know the chapters and topics they need to cover in each subject. It also includes the concepts that all the students are expected to learn in every paper. The students must know that the all the questions in Assam HS exams are asked in the final board exams. Also, questions in entrance tests like JEE, NEET, CUET are asked from the class 12 syllabus only.

No, there is no change made has been made in the latest released AHSEC HS syllabus for the upcoming board exams. The board has released the updated Assam Board HS syllabus 2026 on its website. After analysing it, we found no change in it. However, time to time, the board revises the Assam HS syllabus to stay aligned with the national education policy. Students must download and follow the latest Assam HS syllabus.

The 12th board exams 2024 will be conducted between February 12 and March 13, 2024, in pen and paper format. The Assam HS exams 2024 will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift to be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.As per the timetable, the West Bengal HS exams will be conducted from February 16 to 29, 2024. The exams will begin at 12 PM and conclude by 3:15 PM. However, students who will be appearing for: health and physical education, visual arts, music and vocational subjects will be given only 2 hours to complete the exam.

The Assam HS Exams 2024 were conducted between February 12 and March 13, 2024, in two shifts: morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Today, May 9, 2024, at 9 am, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the HS Result 2024 Assam. The board chairman and the state education minister unveiled the results. Students can check their AHSEC HS result 2024 using their roll code and roll number.

Candidates who are unable to secure pass marks in one or more subjects will have to appear for the Compartment exams, which are expected to be held in July, after the declaration of the result.

After the result declartion, the students who are not satisfied with their Assam Board 12th result can apply for revaluation or rechecking of their answer sheet. Students need to fill the application form and submit the revaluation fee. After result declaration, the board announces the application form date for answer sheet revaluation. Students must complete the application process withing the given deadline.
