Indian nationals who pursue MBBS courses from foreign universities are required to clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination FMGE in order to receive the license to practice in India. While clearing the exam is compulsory for all doctors with a foreign medical degree, those having earned their MBBS and post-graduate degrees from US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have been given an exemption. But in order to practice medicine in India post getting the degree, the candidate must be recognised for enrollment as medical practitioners in the country from which they acquired the degree. If you were declared a failure in the 12th AHSEC board exams, you will have to reapply for the exam next year. Admission is determined by the college. You can take admission to study 12th grade again, or you can apply for the 12th AHSEC board exams separately. Your college name will appear on your marksheet as NIP instead of the college's (school's) name. You will also be treated as a "private candidate" in the next round of exams. Hence, if you do not need to take admission, you can simply appear in the exam next year.

Every year, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHESC) Guwahati conducts exams for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination for class 12 students. The Council prescribes the syllabus and exam pattern and examinations are conducted in two shifts, I. e. the morning shift (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) and the afternoon shift (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm) across the state. It gives 25% of the total score as grace marks to mentally impaired and hearing impaired aspirants. These grace marks are provided to aspirants who pass the exam without any assistance.

GRE and IELTS are both requirements for any form of study you wish to pursue. As far as an undergrad is considered, you may find certain colleges in Australia which only require an English proficiency test and not GRE. IT is important to scout such colleges and build a proper profile so as to allow a better view of things. With the recent changes, the score barrier for English proficiency tests has gone up and certain people find it difficult to achieve the same. A better alterative would be to enroll in some form of study which would then allow you to scale up to a PR and a job opportunity in Canada. One of the interesting one's that
