Yes, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will conduct compartment exams for 12th grade in 2024: 

When

The compartment exams are tentatively scheduled for July 2024. The results are expected to be announced by the end of July. 

Who can take the exams

Students who didn't pass one or two subjects in the regular exams can take the compartment exams. 

How to prepare

Students can practice previous AHSEC question papers to prepare for the exams. 

The AHSEC also conducts a betterment exam for the H-S Final Year Examination. This exam includes options for re-appearance, betterment, certain subjects, and more.

You can repeat if you change your board to  CBSE or other state boards.

I suggest you to move on with your stream and focus on your higher studies rather than changing your stream right now.

Yes, the AHSEC HS (12th) syllabus includes practical topics in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Science. These subjects include many topics that require experiments to understand theoretical concepts. In these papers, a total of 30 marks allotted for practical examinations. The syllabus of Assam HS includes the topics that need practical experiments and projects to be completed.

The 12th board exams 2024 will be conducted between February 12 and March 13, 2024, in pen and paper format. The Assam HS exams 2024 will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift to be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.As per the timetable, the West Bengal HS exams will be conducted from February 16 to 29, 2024. The exams will begin at 12 PM and conclude by 3:15 PM. However, students who will be appearing for: health and physical education, visual arts, music and vocational subjects will be given only 2 hours to complete the exam.

The Assam HS Exams 2024 were conducted between February 12 and March 13, 2024, in two shifts: morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Today, May 9, 2024, at 9 am, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the HS Result 2024 Assam. The board chairman and the state education minister unveiled the results. Students can check their AHSEC HS result 2024 using their roll code and roll number.

Yes, the students can apply for the answer sheet revaluation and rechecking. The board will reevaluate/recheck the answer and release the final result. We will also notify about the revaluation process here.

After the AHSEC HS result 2026 is declared, the students must ensure that the all the details maneeiotned on the scorecard is correct. Thereafter, they are required to collect their original mark sheet from their respective schools. Then, candidates can proceed to get admission to the UG level course or any other programs as per their choice.
