Yes AIIMS Deoghar is definitely good for MBBS.All India Institute of Medical Sciences Deoghar (also known as AIIMS Deoghar or AIIMS-D) is a public medical research institute located in Deoghar, Jharkhand. It is one of the six AIIMS that started operations in 2019. Established in 2019 by the Ministry of Health Care and Family Welfare (MHFW) under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), it is also approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). AIIMS Deoghar provides the best educational opportunities in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). It provides the highest seat intake for students in this course which is 125 which is double as compared to MBBS in nursing which provides a seat intake of 60 students. It provides better placement opportunities for students in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) than students pursuing MBBS in Nursing.

AIIMS Deoghar is newly inaugurated AIIMS in 2019. It offers courses among 20+ departments. 

If you talk about good or bad then -

Advantages- 

  • First of all, Deoghar (Jharkhand) earlier didn't had good medical facilities. So there is load of patients and variety of patients. It is a very good advantage for students. 
  • Labs in AIIMS Deoghar are well-equipped for every branch. 
  • Hostel facilities are much better. 

Disadvantage - 

  • As the construction of AIIMS Deoghar started late so the classes are not conducted in any government college but they are conducted in PTI (panchayat training Institute)

But if you ask about popular branches - 

  • Radiology ( X Ray, CT scan) 
  • Orthopaedics ( treatment of musculoskeletal disorder) 
  • General medicine ( treatment of general ailness) 
  • Dermatology ( diagnose skin and hair disease) 
  • Pediatrics ( merical care of infant to 18 years) 

These branches have high scope with good salaries and career opportunities.

To be eligible for MBBS programme, candidate must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in PCB stream with English as a compulsory subject.

No, AIIMS Deoghar admission is completely entrance or merit-based. There is no provision for direct admission. To apply for AIIMS Deoghar MBBS admission, candidates must have at least 50%-60% aggregate in Class 12 in PCB with English as compulsory subject. Selection to MBBS is granted on the basis of NEET UG score followed by counselling.

The required percentile for the General/EWS category is 50, with corresponding cut off marks ranging from 720 to 137 in AIIMS Deoghar. The OBC, SC, and ST categories and their respective PwD subcategories all have a NEET 2023 cut off Percentile of 40 for admissions at AIIMS Deoghar.

The students have to follow the above details for cut-off for B.Com at AIIMS Deoghar.
