To ge admission into Alliance School of Design, students need to meet the admission requirements of the course they wish to pursue. Students must apply online for the institute-level entrance test (AUDAT/ AUMDAT) to get into the UG and PG courses offered at the collge. Those who clear the exam are then required to appear for the AU Personal Interview round. Students who make it to final list of selected students then need to pay the admission fees to confirm their seats at the college.

However, in terms of affordability, Alliance School of Design is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue MDes at Alliance School of Design is INR 4 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue MDes at Faculty of Art and Design, M.S. Ramaiah University, is INR 4.26 lakh.

In this step, students seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the basic eligibility requirements for the course.
