As per the official syllabus, there is no one specified book as such to prepare for the GPSC Ayurved medical officer exam, but, the following books can help you:-

1. GPSC Medical Officer Class-2 Recruitment exam book by Bc Rathod 

2. Ayurveda Sangraha with Objective book by Dr. Govind Pareek

Other than these, you can also use other resources, such as previous year papers, mock tests that are available on the official website of the exam conducting body.

Most of the colleges accept students through NEET and follow the merit list set by the respective state or central authorities. However, there are some colleges which accept Homeopathy course admission through Class 12 scores.

On completion of Homeopathy course, candidates acquire a strong grasp of subjects, firm working knowledge and a competent approach to diagnosis and management of various ailments. In India, there are only two colleges that offer an MD Homeopathy course.

To get admission in BHMS at DEI Agra for a general category candidate, your NEET qualifying percentile is 50th percentile.In NEET 2024, the score range is in between 162 to 720. Specifically for DEI Agra, the closing All India Rank (AIR) for the General category in the 2024 AYUSH NEET UG Round 3 counseling was 1,321,964 . This suggests that candidates with lower NEET scores, possibly even below 200, were considered for admission in that round. 

BAMS and BHMS graduates can pursue pediatric courses specific to Ayurveda (Kaumarbhritya) or Homeopathy Pediatrics. These offer knowledge of treating childhood illnesses within their respective systems.

They can also take certificate or Diploma programs in child care to work in integrated wellness centers, rural health missions, or Ayurvedic child care clinics, but cannot practice allopathic pediatrics unless they complete an MBBS.

Yes, BAMS or BHMS graduates can pursue pediatric specializations within their own medical systems, such as Kaumarbhritya (Ayurvedic pediatrics) or Homeopathic Pediatrics. These are separate from allopathic pediatrics.

However, they cannot pursue MD Pediatrics (Allopathy) or practice as allopathic pediatricians unless they earn an MBBS degree and meet the eligibility criteria set by NMC or other regulatory bodies.
