Yes, Indian students can apply to a maximum of two disciplines while applying to AFI. But students are required to submit separate applications for each discipline. The application fee is USD 110 (Around INR 10.4k). Documents required to apply are-

  • Resume 
  • Two LORs

Yes American Film Institute acceptance rate is around 10-20% while some sources suggest it being as low as 1-6%. This makes it very hard to get into the university as possibly only one tenth of the applicants will be offered admission. Make sure to submit excellent grades and impressive portfolio.
