Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000. So, you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently. So, the rank for VIT university may go high as expected. See, basically VIT is a brand name in India and when it comes to study, placement they never compromise from it. They give best facilities to there students. It's totally upto the student whether to go for VIT Bhopal or VIT Amravati. According to me one should go for VIT Bhopal as it has many advantages. It has 100% doctoral faculty. Caltech based learning system. Studios in place of normal classrooms. First university to give unlimited internet access. Strategically located on Indore-Bhopal Highway, to attract companies from Mumbai, Pune, Indore, etc. So, it's better to take admission there

It is difficult to get a seat at Amravati campus of VIT University with this rank under category 1. But you may get a seat if you pay more fee that mentioned.

The cut-off of VITEEE 2018 will be declared in the form of opening and closing ranks.
