Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers only two specialisations under the M.Tech programme offered at the Chennai campus. These two specialisations are M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and M.Tech in VLSI Design. Both the courses are offered for a duration of two years. Moreover, admission to both courses is granted based on GATE scores. However, the university also accepts non-GATE candidates.
