IIITM Gwalior encourages its students to participate in sports. The institute has a full-fledged building as well as game rooms in each hostel. IIITM Gwalior's sports complex contains a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a lawn tennis court, a basketball court, a billiards room, two squash courts, many table tennis boards, and multiple badminton courts. Aside from this complex, Boys' Hostel 1 has an extra billiards room, and Girls' Hostel has an additional gymnasium, an additional tennis court, one cricket ground, and one football field.
