NIELIT Guwahati offers merit-based admissions to majority of the courses on offer. Few courses requires candidates to appear for an entrance test, and the cutoff score is decided by the institute based on the difficulty level of the paper. Candidates must check the selection criteria to find out if the admission process is entrance or merit based.
