So, after 12th — assuming you took Physics and Maths — the next step is finding a flying school that's approved by the DGCA. Before starting training, you'll need a Class 2 medical check-up first. Once that's cleared, you'll also go for a Class 1 medical. Then you can begin your CPL training. It's not just flying; you'll also study stuff like Air Regulations, Weather (Meteorology), and Navigation. After you complete your required flying hours and finish the classes, you can take the DGCA exams. If you pass those, you get your commercial pilot license.

It is to pass Class 12 board exams in any background, with good English and Hindi proficiency. If you have completed a Diploma course or hold a degree in Aviation or Hospitality with decent marks, it is a cherry on top and is mostly preferred by top-ranked airlines.

Other than the educational eligibility, you should meet the physical fitness, age, and other grooming standards needed to land a job as a cabin crew member.

Well, yes. You must be spot on with your English communication skills as it is the standard International language, which is very important to cater to airline passengers from all backgrounds, on diverse routes, both within India and outside. English proficiency helps you communicate clearly and address passenger queries more efficiently. Hence, it is important for you to have a strong hold over the language for passenger comfort, safety, and top-notch customer service.
