Difference between the two. MBA in Aviation Management deals with the international Aviation Management course and includes both Airline Management and Airport Management. It also deals with the construction, infrastructure, operations, strategy planning, new strategies for international aviation, Marketing and Promotions, etc. It's a vast course involving Operations, Management, Development, Assessment of the industry. Airline and Airport Management deals with the operation, marketing, strategy planning g of a particular airline or an airport. Aviation Management deals with whole industry and all others related to the field of aviation including Helicopter, defense, Air Traffic, Rules and regulations. Thank you.

Air hostess is one profession desired by women. After the liberalisation in aviation sector, job opportunities for airhostess professionals have increased multi-fold. It is one of the highest paid professions for women in India. More than ones education, personality traits are important for pursuing a career in this.
Qualifying Exam:
As part of the screening process, the candidate will have to sit for a written examination followed by a group discussion followed by a personal interview. If the candidate does well in all the above said things, she will be on training for 3 months. In those training sessions, she will learn about the safety and first aid, how to serve and mingle with the passengers etc. There are both short term and long-term courses. The duration of short could be between 3 to 6 months. The long-term course is for a minimum of one year. Who is eligible to apply? Although most of the airlines need a person who is 12th pass, some of the airlines prefer graduates. Some of the reputed airlines even demand a graduation with specialisation in Hotel Management and Tourism. Fluency in English, Hindi and any of the International languages will be an added advantage. For most of the airlines, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 25 years. The girl who pursue to become an Air Hostess must be unmarried (some of the airlines employs married women though). She should be at least 157.5cms with normal eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected in both eyes. Minimum arm reach of 212cms is a must since she may have to reach the emergency equipments. She should hold a passport. She should not be overweight. The next most important criteria to become an Air Hostess are that, she should have a pleasing personality, must be capable of remaining calm even under the worst circumstances. She should not lose her control even though the passengers irritate her by asking the same questions, repeatedly asking for food, water etc. She should have common sense and a sense of responsibility. How to prepare for exam and interview? As part of the preparation the candidates can join some training institutes. Some of the Air Hostess Training Institutes in India are Air Hostess Academy in New Delhi, Rai University in New Delhi, Frank Finn Institute of Air Hostess Training and Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering. However, most preferred is Frankfinn institute as mostly who join as cabin crew airhostess are from FrankFinn.
