Founded in 1928 the Bombay Flying Club is one of the oldest aviation organizations in India and one of Mumbai's top institutions. Its B.Sc in Aviation maintenance engineering (AME) programs, and pilot training are well respected. Aspiring pilots and aviation professionals choose the club because of its reputation for strict training standards, knowledgeable instructors, and a collection of well-maintained aircraft.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved its programs which adhere to strict industry requirements. The clubs reputation has been further enhanced by the fact that its graduates have gone on to work for significant airlines and aviation organizations. But there are other competitive programs offered by other respectable institutions in Mumbai such as CAE Oxford and IGIA.
You must submit the following documents for admission into The Bombay Flying Club:
Certificate of Higher Secondary School (HSC):
You have to have passed the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education's HSC test or an exam that is comparable. You must have passed in Math and Physics.
Class II medical examination: You can't begin flying training unless you pass this test.
Original Provisional Eligibility: You must obtain this from the University of Mumbai if you are not from Maharashtra.
You must obtain a migration certificate from the University of Mumbai.

A 10+2 degree with a solid basis in physics, chemistry, and mathematics is normally required for admission to The Bombay Flying Clubs UG Diploma programs. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA) requirements candidates for programs such as Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) must have finished their 10+2 with at least 50% in these disciplines.
In accordance with aviation requirements candidates may also need to pass a medical fitness test and be at least 17 years old at the time of admission It is beneficial to have excellent communication skills and a thorough comprehension of technical concepts.
