Yes, Aptech Aviation and Hospitality Academy admissions are merit-based. Students seeking to enrol into the course of choice at the institute are advised to go through the detailed admission criteria before proceeding with application. Although admissions are merit-based, students must still ensure that they meet the medical fitness requirements as specified by the institute.

Adventure Flight Education Private Limited – Hyderabad offers a certificate programme for Commercial Pilot License Training. AFE Hyderabad offers admission to the course completely on the basis of the merit obtained in the last qualifying examination and the course-specific eligibility criteria. However, the institute has not specified a minimum aggregate for admission to the Commercial Pilot License Training programme. Candidates with 85% in PCM typically have a good chance at securing admission to the institute.

The issuing authorities of the pilot's license are FAA (America), EASA (Europe), and DGCA (India). FAA licenses are commonly accepted and are flexible and used primarily for commercial training. EASA has extensive theoretical and practical requirements, which are commonly accepted in Europe. DGCA licenses are ICAO compliant and are required for flying in India. They can be transferred from one to another but need exams, medical checks, and flying hours according to the standards of each authority.
