For getting trained in Jet airways training academy, your sister will have to go through the walk-in interviews conducted by jet airways for the position of cabin crew.
You can find the notification on jet airways career page.
Since she's already passed class 12, she has satisfied the minimum required eligibility on educational grounds.
For application, visit the following link :

Railway Recruitment Board keeps coming up with vacancy notifications for the position of Railway Co-Pilot. It was available last month itself. You should take a look at the webpage of RRB Recruitment. Railway hires graduates for the position of loco pilots. The training for the same is provided by railways in their own training institutes. Thereafter you will be released as a loco pilot.

You can definitely become even after aircraft maintenance course but for that you will have to do CPL training also.
Aircraft Maintenance will make you an aircraft technician and not a pilot.
To be a pilot you will have to do CPL Training.
You should although have passed class 12 with PCM 50% marks to go for CPL Training.
The aviation maintenance course will hold no good there. It will only add to your additional qualification and will find a place in your Resume.

To become a pilot only 12th is required and graduation is just additional qualification, in this matter. Although the concern of your parents is also correct, but my friend once you get a pilot's job no one really bothers what was your education or what degree you hold. And leaving the job is the rarest of the rare. Unless you get involve in some major incident or accident or you become medically unfit. You may still get a degree like I did from distance learning programmes. I am now a post graduate and I have take both the degrees from IGNOU, studying parallely with CPL Training. This option will satisfy your parent's requirements als

Hello Parikshith, It's indeed heartening to know that you are interested in higher studies. I would advise strongly that you go for AME rather than Aeronautical Engineering branch. This is so since opportunities in later are rather limited and you would be competing with mechanical engineers for many jobs. On the other hand, opportunities for AME are increasing with each passing year as can be seen by reports of each commercial airlines announcing procurement of large number of aircraft.

According to the Supreme Court of India, any university or college cannot run technical courses via distance mode, and if you are going for distance mode then please abort your decision.
