Hi Sachin, The best institutes for cabin crew are Frankfinn, Bombay Flying Club, Jet Airways Training, Compass Aviation, PCT Aviation and HM Aviation. These are some of the best institutes, but Frankfinn is the best option

AME will not take you to a pilot's seat in the cockpit. The requirement to become a pilot is 10+2 with 50% marks in PCM, if you satisfy the criteria then only you can take admission and pursue your CPL training. After the completion of the training, you will be issued a license by DGCA. Only then you can apply and become a pilot.

Dear Hindusri,
Placements: The placements are good for the Computer Science engineering department. But when it comes to the aeronautical engineering, the placements are on the lower side in the core. Though many aeronautical engineering students who studied here got jobs in the IT companies, only a few got jobs in their respective field of study.

You will end up spending approximately Rs. 20 Lacs - 30 Lacs as of now to complete CPL. The price goes higher if you want to go for IGRUA or NFTI or any sophisticated international flying clubs. And, if you want to include type rating then that's approximately Rs. 15 Lacs all total. As long as your vision can be corrected to 20/20 with glasses or contacts, you will be eligible for a 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate, which makes you eligible to fly as a civilian professional pilot. This is much less restrictive than military pilot vision requirements. Regards.
