I don't know about Jain University, Bangalore so I cannot comment on this. But here in UPES, BBA course is above average.
If you compare placements with the fee, you will not be much happy. But I know some seniors here who have started their own start-ups.
So you will learn a lot of things here.

It requires 50% in PCM at the 12th standard level to be a pilot. Remember 50% is the minimum requirement and you should qualify this requirement in all the three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Then only you can apply and appear for any exam of Commercial Pilot Training/programme.

Your Mechanical degree will be an additional qualification for you, although it will not be used for any privileges for issuing your CPL.
For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires 50% in PCM to be a pilot. And even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible.
Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visit http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htm and go to the Class 2nd exam

You may get an institute with less fee but they might not have a high placement record so it's pointless to join such institutes.
