Is this diploma equivalent to Class 12 PCM?
Since you have not explained properly about your diploma, I had to ask a question in response to your question.
You will have to verify if your diploma is equivalent to 10+2 PCM and acceptable to DGCA. If it is, you can take admission to AME course.

Hello Neel,
Amity has a very good reputation academically. As a result, a large number of companies visit for recruitment. Though branch wise figures were not available, names of companies visited last year is quite impressive. You need not worry about this aspect. The CTC offered is as per the industry norms but specific details for aeronautical engineering branch are not available.

Yes, you can do that. PPL in India is issued after 40 hours flying + DGCA exams + PPL issue checks.
You can take PPL from India and then proceed abroad to complete your training for CPL. But remember this is not going to give you any additional benefits. Because PPL privileges for Indian license cannot be exercised abroad, as the criteria for issue of PPL or CPL differs from country to country.
Like countries which are regulated by FAA, issue CPL only after 250 hours of flying. And in India, it's DGCA that imposes and enforces the laws of aviation. Here you can get your CPL at 200 hours of flying only.

Yes, you can. There are various job roles in ground for those you come from commerce background. Those coming after 12th usually join as CSA and take care of desk jobs. Those who are graduated and join aviation get opportunity to join in the management and admin team of the organisation. Depending on the organisation's requirement and Candidate's caliber additional responsibilities with additional perks can be added.

The vision required to become a cabin crew is 6/6. They accept 6/9 in the weaker eye. If you use specs to keep the vision 6/6, then that is acceptable. The use of contact lens is usually not recommended. I would personally prefer using specs over lenses. Medical standards also differ from airline to airline. So you should verify the standards before application. Some allow use of lens to a certain limit.

The selection procedure remains the same because you are ultimately going to join for the same position. After being graduated you will get the chance to serve the forces as a technical engineer. NDA entry allows you to serve as an officer after 10+2, And as Sipahi after class 10. This allows you to enter the permanent commission in defence forces. After CDS you get entry usually in short service commission. NDA and CDS takes you to SSB before you finally get recommended. AFCAT leads you to AFSB before you for finally get recommended for the position applied.

You will be eligible for both the positions after you complete your aeronautical engineering degree. IAF takes entry from AFCAT and CDS for both flying branch and technical entry, for those who are graduates.
For those who come after 12th can enter from NDA.
In AFCAT the cutoff for flying branch is higher than that of technical one.
After you get through the written exam of AFCAT you will be called up for AFSB at any of the airforce station. Once you are recommended by the AFSB you shall join IAF for flying or technical branch. The choice lies with the candidate to go for flying or technical branch.
CDS is a common exam which allows en
