Listed below are the minimum criteria which candidates interested in pursuing the course are required to fulfil, in order to be eligible to apply for the course. Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Graduation with minimum 50% marks in any discipline (preferably Economics or Commerce background with Mathematics) with minimum two years of experience in Aviation or related sector will be suitable for the M. B.A. (Aviation Management) programme for Working Professionals. Regards.

Hello Karthik, Its nice to see your query. Many students are getting confused. Shakespeare had famously said "What's in a name. A rose is a rose ". But in India institutes try to mislead by giving fancy sounding names to courses. Any engineering course needs to be approved by AICTE & is of four years duration. Degree of B.Tech or BE is awarded after successful completion. On the other hand aircraft main courses are approved by DGCA and are of three years duration. Degree of B.Sc. Is normally awarded. Hence rather than going by nomenclature please look for these indicators. Aircraft Main courses deal with imparting knowledge about how to maintain an aircraft. Engineering courses on the other hand teach various scientific aspects about that branch. Please revert if any doubts persist.

Commercial Airline Pilots are highly trained professionals and they display immense professionalism at their workstations I. e. the aircraft cockpit. The salaries hence paid are handsome and it matches the international standards. Initially First Officers / Co-Pilots get paid around 1.5-2.0Lakh per month. This is irrespective of domestic or international sectors. Although additional perks are always added to the total for doing international sectors. Commanders salary ranges from 6.0-10.0L per month.
