There are lots of good career opportunities on completion of aeronautical engineering. Aeronautical enegineers can join DRDO/ ISRO/ aviation manufacturing or its ancillary units/ airlines/ Air Force/ educational Institutes/ R&D Units / IT etc.

Yes, it is possible and it is very common for mechanical engineering students to study aeronautical engineering. Carleton University, Concordia University, Royal Military College of Canada, University of Toronto, Ryerson University and McGill University are some of the top universities for this. Please write to the universities and check their websites for entry requirements.
