B.A Eligibility

Candidates who are willing to get admission to a UG level desigining course of BA at IIAD Delhi must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Aspirants who passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/Commerce/Arts from CBSE/ ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board are eligible to apply for the course. Afte fulfilling the eligibility critreria, next step is to appear for IDAT exam. 

In order to get admission to BA at IIAD, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/ Commerce/ Arts from CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board. Additionally, the students also need to take the IIAD-conducted entrance exam, i.e., IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT) in both online and offline modes. Candidates who are willing to take admission to a three year BA course at Barasat Government College must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course. As per the basic educational requirements for this course, candidates are required to pass Class 12 with minimum 50 - 60% aggregate in the respective subjects. In case, a candidate belongs to reserved category can obtain a minimum of 40% aggregate in the similar subjects.

JNU accepts CUET-UG entrance test scores for admission to the BA (Hons) courses. Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG courses offered in all the participating institutions. Candidates seeking admission to the JNU BA (Hons) course must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
