If your aim is to work directly within journalism, it is vital that you build up a portfolio of work and gain as much relevant experience as possible. Working on a student newspaper, magazine or radio station will be helpful. You could also start your own blog to develop your writing style and interview techniques. To get on a relevant degree, you'll need five GCSEs A-C, including Maths, English and Science and three A levels. There are no specific subjects required but relevant ones include: English literature, English language, media, psychology, sociology, communication studies and law.

Check out with some of the colleges under IP University who might be having spot admission facility. I mean they might be offering admission without counselling or entrance. This you need to check. A more valid option shall be Amity School of Communication which is more likely to grow into a good place for mass media and media related education.

Hi Vikram!
There are many government universities that offer MA in mass communications. But those offering bachelors courses are very limited. Personally, I would recommend Delhi University and Jamia Milia Islamia University.
