As your NEET score is 380, there are very few chances that you will be given admission in a government medical college for BAMS or BHMS. BAMS cutoff in government colleges is usually between 720 and 162 for the general category, and for BHMS, about 720 to 136. Your score is way lower than these numbers, and thus admission would be difficult. You can consider attending private colleges or other health sciences schools with lower cutoffs.

With 295 marks in NEET 2024, it's very hard to get admission in a government BAMS college, particularly under the All India Quota (AIQ), where the cutoffs in government Ayurvedic colleges are generally 400+ for General and 350+ for Reserved ones.

With a NEET score of 214 in the SC category, admission to government MBBS colleges is not possible, as past trends show higher cutoffs. For example, in Maharashtra, the 2024 cutoff for SC students in government medical colleges was 554 marks.
In the case of BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), though the qualifying percentile for SC students is 40%, which is equivalent to marks between 161 and 127, actual admission cutoffs tend to be higher because of competition.

  • BAMS Eligibility requires students to qualify for NEET in order to get admission in top BAMS colleges in India. BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery & is a 5.5-year course.
  • BAMS admission without NEET is possible. Various AYUSH colleges offer admission to students on the basis of 10+2 board exam results. Candidates need to have passed 12th with a minimum score of 50% marks for general category and 40% for reserved category.

As the NEET 2024 mark is 360 and All India Rank (AIR) is 464,738, it is unlikely to get a government seat in the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course. Historically, government BAMS college admissions required more marks. For instance, in 2023, the closing rank for government BAMS colleges was around 285,160.? cite? turn0search6? However, cutoffs can vary annually based on factors like the number of applicants, the number of seats available, and category reservations. It is advisable to refer to the official counseling authorities.
