With 254 marks in NEET, you can get admission in BAMS or BHMS if you belong to the EWS category. You only have chances of getting admission in a private collge because government seats are highly competive due to low seats intake. For the EWS category, the NEET cut-off is generally considered to be around 162 marks (50th percentile), and as your score is more than this, you'll not face any problem in getting admission in BAMS or BHMS. You can use Shiksha's college predictor to get a list of expected colleges.

Yes, a 467340 rank in NEET can get you a BAMS college in Himachal Pradesh. The cutoff rank for BAMS colleges is usually lower, and you can easily get admission with that rank. Although your chances of getting a private college are relatively higher than getting a government one. Admission to BAMS colleges in Himachal Pradesh is done through the Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU) counselling process; you can use various college predictors to get a list of expected colleges.

With 417 marks in NEET 2024, you have a decent possibility of getting admission into a government BAMS college. The cutoff for BAMS changes every year and relies upon things like the number of applicants, level of difficulty in the exam, and availability of seats.

For the general category, the cut-off percentile for BAMS is generally around the 50th percentile and hence the score range comes out to be around 720-162. For reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC, the cut-off percentile is approximately 40th percentile and hence the score range comes out to be around 161-1271.

Since your score of 417 is well above the reserved and general cat

With 293 marks in NEET 2024 under the EWS category, it is highly unlikely that you will secure a free seat in a BAMS course at a government college, as the cut-off for EWS category is usually much higher than this mark; you might be able to get a seat in a private college depending on the state and college availability.

Key points to consider:

EWS cut-off is generally higher:

For a free seat in a government college, the EWS category cut-off for BAMS is typically significantly above 293 marks.

State-wise variations:

Cut-offs can vary depending on the state you are applying to, so check the specific cut-off for your region.

Here are some of the colleges providing direct admission for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course without NEET scores:

  • Ashtang Ayurved Mahavidyalaya
  • Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Ayurveda, Katraj - Dhankawadi
  • Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

These colleges provide admission under management quota depending on your 12th-grade marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. You must have at least 50% marks in all three subjects to be considered.
