Your opportunity to secure admission in a BAMS college in Bihar through the OBC category and defence quota with 500 marks in NEET will depend on annual cut-off levels combined with defense quota college resource availability across Bihar. You should apply for counselling and regularly visit website.

With a NEET UG 2024 score of 383 and being an SC candidate, you qualify for BAMS admissions since the cutoff for SC students is 40th percentile, which corresponds to scores ranging from 161 to 127.

Yet, obtaining admission in one of the Karnataka government Ayurvedic colleges is highly competitive.

Although it isn't easy to get into Gujarat Ayurveda University, it's not an impossible task as well. Get decent marks, atleast 50% to pass your 12th grade and write the entrance examination of theirs or NEET, as per course. It's competitive, since many people apply, but if you prepare well and satisfy the requirements,  you have a strong chance.

Your NEET score is mandatory for the admission to Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course in Pune The General category cut-off rank in All India Rank in the 2022 admission cycle was approximately 126923.
This means 350-400 might increase your chances of getting admitted. Please note that cutoffs change annually based on a range of factors such as the number of applications available seats and general exam performance. So your chances will be better if you target a higher score.

Cheap BAMS colleges in India are the Institute of Medical Sciences at Banaras Hindu University, costing around INR 10,369 annually, and Government Ayurveda College in Thiruvananthapuram, around INR 14,200 yearly. Fees at Government Ayurveda College in Pariyaram are around INR 17,390 yearly, and at the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur, around INR 27,100 yearly. Moreover, SKS Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital has the lowest fee structure. These colleges offer good education in Ayurveda at relatively lower rates.

346 marks in NEET is not considered as a good score due to high competition. With 346 Marks and General Category, it is NOT possible to get BAMS in a Government college. You can try once in your state colleges. Chances are almost less. You can go for private colleges or you can reappear for NEET.

With 450 marks and 278000 rank in NEET, you can get BAMS but it depends on several factors. You can not get the BAMS college. Since Marks are very low, you should try it from your home state quota, your category will play a important role . If you are from general category, Chances are low. You may try in various state colleges at 450 marks  like

Lucknow University (for BAMS, under State Quota)

Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut

Government Ayurvedic College, Bhopal

Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak

Chances are low still you may try in above colleges.

Hi Priya,

It may be difficult to get a government BAMS seat with 310 marks in NEET, particularly for the general category. However, if you are from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you may have a hope based on your state's cutoff. Certain states have lower cutoffs in the state quota, so it is best to check last year's trends.

If a government seat is out of question, you can try semi-government or private BAMS colleges where your score may suffice. Watch counseling rounds—sometimes cutoffs decline later. wishing u a very Good luck, and hope this is helpful!

The BAMS cutoff in 2023 depended on the college, category, and state quota. For government colleges, students in the general category typically needed around 450-500 marks in NEET, while reserved categories had cutoffs around 350-450. Private colleges had more flexible cutoffs, usually ranging from 300-400 marks.

Wishing you all the very best for this, hope this help.

Apparently, there seems to be some confusion about the location of WTM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, this institution is principally located in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, at a distance of 2.5 kilometers on Joya Sambhal Road in the village of Fatehpur Mafi, Post-Palaula,DistrictAmroha with the pin code 244222. It is however noted that B.A.M.S. course here started annually for 60 students. Admission is based on NEET-UG score and is affiliated with Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Gorakhpur. The yearly fee for B.A.M.S. is around INR 2,51,100

And yes, All the very best for all of this.
