Students are required at least 45% to 50% marks in Class 12 in any stream from a certified board of India to pursue admisison to BA Philosophy courses. The eligibility criteria and 12 Class percentage may vary for different colleges for BA Philosophy admisison.

The admissions to BA Philosophy programme is mostly based on 12 Class merit but some top-ranking colleges may require additional entrance exam qualification criteria for accepting students.

CUET UG is the most common entrance exam accepted in most colleges in India for admission to their BA programme in any specialisation like Philosophy.

BA Philosophy is a theoretical and scholarly degree. There are many skills that are preferable if a student wants to pursue it in their graduation. Some of these skills are: creativity, curiosity, analytical mind, good writing and communication skills, a critical perspective, an understanding attitude, etc.

If a student does not posses these abilities, they should have an open attitude to acquiring these skills and learning about the Philosophical theories in depth.

Hope this helped you!

The latest cutoff information for B.A. (Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy) at Nizam College isn't readily available. However, I recommend checking the official website of Nizam College or contacting their admissions office directly for the most up-to-date information on cutoffs ¹. Students contact the administration office for exact answers.

Your CUET score of 500 out of 800 is pretty good. Admission to Indraprastha College for Women for a B.A in Psychology & Philosophy depends on various factors like cut-off marks, number of applicants, and seat availability. Last year's cut-off can give you a hint, but it's not certain. You should also check if there's any relaxation for categories like OBC, SC, ST, etc. Keep an eye on the college's admission updates and apply on time. Best of luck!
