No, it's not like that. All you have to do is clear the cutoffs with the subjects mentioned in list A which is given in the SRCC website. If your subjects are not in that list a deduction of 2.5% per subject would be applicable while calculating the best 4. If you clear the cutoffs even then, you are as eligible as a commerce student.

There are many universities like LPU which have moved forward to see that the student's academics is not disturbed in any way. The last qualified score is taken into consideration and provisional admission is given. You can then show your clear result just before the start of the classes. The scholarship for which you might be eligible
If you belong to a category having some sort of concession
If you have a national level award or national level test has been cleared your fee will differ from others.
Whether you are availing the COVID scholarship.
So it would be best if you check from the website of SS Jain and check the scholarships available for you. You can also browse some other good universities to check the financial benefits offered in other places like COVID scholarship scheme has been started by LPU along with good academics.
