There are many pros and cons of studying through distance or in SOL. You have to keep a number of factors in mind while deciding. NET, SET, JRF which are sponsored by UGC. Once, you clear them, you will be getting Scholarships Government for further Research studies in Economics. Then, you can master yourself in it and become ECONOMISTS. By the way, there are many job opportunities in Economics.
