There's nothing called a right time to start preparation though many IAS bounded aspirants start their preparations during the first or second year of their graduation. The earlier the better. You must frequently update your current affairs. Read national and regional newspapers and competition and current affairs magazines regularly. Coaching assistance may be available from institutes like Rau's IAS, Chanakya, Elite Academy, Brilliant Tutorials etc. also. Read articles appearing in Employment News also. Visit www.onestopias.com for more elaborate view on Civil Services. Decide your prelims subjects early and start your preparations.
