B.Com (H) is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students. The course curriculum includes subjects like cost accounting, organizational behaviour and then one can specialize in fields like accounts and economics. You can also pursue courses like Chartered Accountancy along with your B.Com. You can better your skills by pursuing post graduation courses like MBA or M.Com.
Eligibility Criteria: HSC or equivalent, with Maths and English as compulsory subjects.
Scope: You can join a KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) that deals with processing of payrolls, administration of accounts or insurance at entry level positions. If you're interested in figures, and balancing ledgers, cost accounts, then you can join as an account assistant or in the auditing department of various firms. Apart from this, you can go for higher education, by pursuing courses like an MBA or an M.Com.
B.Com (P)
The course is similar to B.Com (H). The difference lies in the fact that you can specialize in a certain subject in B.Com (H), but the B.Com (P) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the honours course.
Eligibility Criteria: HSC or equivalent, with Maths and English as compulsory subjects.
Scope: You can pursue higher education after your graduation. You can pursue courses like MBA or M.Com. Compared to the honours course, the job opportunities are a little less, after pursuing this course.

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA.LLB) is a five year integrated law degree program. The applicant can apply for it straight after completing Class XII (10+2) passing from a recognized board of education in India. After its completion, students are eligible for the enrollment with the Bar Council of India upon the fulfillment of eligibility conditions
BA.LLB course covers Arts subjects along with Law subjects. The syllabus for this program as the name suggests includes enriching curriculum in Art subjects like English, Political Science, Sociology, History, Economics etc. Along with the study of Indian law including in-depth learning of acts, constitutional rights, codes such as comprehensive knowledge about the Indian Penal Code and likewise.
This degree would not only provide you employment as a Government servant, Advocate, Public prosecutor, legal adviser, defense serviceman, but may also let you become a writer for law oriented journals and Magazines. Not even this much, you may take up LL.M further and can go for a teaching job in a law School or University if you have niche teaching skills.
Most of the universities provide the combined degree on completion of the course.

Sneh, Design is an option. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. At this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers.
