You can also get admission based upon your marks in high school. It also depends on the cutoff list of the college.
The basic eligibility for BA Economics programme is 45% marks in aggregate from a valid board of education.
It totally depends on the college if they provide any sort of quota to SC/ST, Christians and others. You must check the college website for more information.
