With 88 percentile, it's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs or top government colleges. So, it's better to go with private Institutes. As you see in NITs, the seats are less than 600, for a student whose AIR is more than 10K cannot get admission in any of the NITs.

No, It's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs as the seats are limited to less than 600. So, those who get AIR of less than 1400 will get seats in NITs. I suggest you to go with private institutes.

It totally depends on your college. If you will get any good NIT, then you can get 6 LPA average package.

The college predictor tool is for admission in B.Tech programmes, it's not for B.Arch. There are a total of 31 NITs out of which only 9 NITs offer B.Arch which constitute a total of 559 seats. So, if your AIR is under 1.3K then you can get admission in any one of the NITs. Else, it's not possible for you to get admission, you have to go with Private Institutes.

There are only 559 seats in all NITs. So, in order to get admission in NIT Trichy you should have AIR less than 1000. With this rank it's not possible for you to get admission in any if the NITs. So, I suggest you to apply for Private Institutes.
