JNTU Hyderabad course admissions are entrance-based. The institute offers the BTech programme at the UG level and the MBA, MCA, MSc, and MTech programmes at the PG level.

For admission to its BTech programme, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad accepts the JEE Main scores, followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling.
